To update information about an album

Click Media Library, click All Music, and then click the Album category.
Right-click the album, and then click Update Album Info.
The Player accesses the database hosted by WindowsMedia.com and retrieves any new information about the album.

Caution Image Caution

This command overwrites any changes you may have manually made to the information for the selected album.

Note Image Notes

When you click Update Album Info, the information is updated instantaneously.
You must be connected to the Internet to use Update Album Info.
You can only update album information for albums listed in Media Library.
After media information has been edited or updated, items may be automatically renamed and rearranged in Media Library and in the folder to which your music files are copied if the Rename and rearrange music using media information check box on the Media Library tab is selected. By default, music files are copied to your My Music folder.
